This installation was on view at SPACE Gallery in Downtown Pittsburgh from February to April 2024. It reimagines my film essay "Espetáculo Fantástico" into a more spatial context. The film's image, text, and audio components have been separated through two monitors and a speaker attached to a waiting bench. In this version of the film, all three channels loop infinitely out of sync, creating endless combinations for the story to be told and then retold. Viewers are invited to sit at the bench placed in front of the wall installation, recalling the waiting area of boarding gates in airports. Take-home pamphlets are available on the bench, providing guided prompts for spotting a lost time traveler or broken time machine in the films they watch.
