Created as a connecting thread to my ongoing research on time travel narratives in US-centric pop culture, Time Machine Seeds are self-guided activity kits where participants are invited to visualize and re-define their own notions of what a time machine can look like. Each kit comes with a set of open ended prompts and an image bank to spark the initial ideating process. The result is a personal mind map that the kit's owner can refer to as they navigate time and reflect on cultural memory in their day-to-day.
This kit is distributed at art book fairs for purchase on a sliding scale basis. It was most recently tested as a one-off synchronous workshop with the MFA community at Carnegie Mellon University.
